About Fun Forge Lab ๐พ
Fun Forge Lab is a cozy little workshop of small, playful web apps โ quizzes, puzzles, and games, built just for fun. There's no grand mission behind it: it's a place to build the kind of small, well-made toys we'd actually want to play with on a coffee break, and share them with whoever else might enjoy them too.
What you'll find here:
- Rainbow Animals Quiz โ a 16-question personality quiz that reveals your "work animal," plus who your ideal work besties are.
- Word Forge โ a fresh 5-letter word puzzle every day, with streaks, a colorblind-friendly mode, and a shareable result grid.
- Group Forge โ 16 words, 4 hidden groups, and a new daily puzzle designed to sneak in a few deliberate red herrings.
- Zoo Rogue โ pick one of 16 animals and see how deep you can run through an endless, permadeath roguelite battle.
- Singapore Mahjong โ a full 4-player match with flower and animal bonus tiles, played against 3 AI opponents across 8 hands.
- Zoo Forge โ an endless animal-merge puzzle in the 2048 tradition: slide, combine, and evolve your critters as far as the board lets you.
A few things guide how everything here is built. Nothing requires an account or a sign-up โ every app works the moment you open it, and the little personalization that does exist (a saved daily streak, a personal best score, an in-game name) lives behind a single anonymous ID on your device, not a login. Everything is designed mobile-first, since that's how most people actually find these. And each app is meant to be genuinely replayable, not a one-time gimmick โ that's why the daily puzzles reset every day, and why the roguelite and merge games are endless rather than having a fixed ending.
The site is small and updated in bursts rather than on a fixed schedule โ new apps, animals, and features get added over time based on what seems worth building next (and sometimes on requests, so see the FAQ below if you have one).
FAQ
Do I need an account to play?
No. Every app works instantly with no sign-up. A small anonymous ID is stored in your browser to keep track of things like your streak or personal best, but it isn't tied to any personal information.
Is my data sold or shared?
No individual data is sold. Some pages carry ads to help keep the site free to run, and aggregate, anonymous stats (like which quiz result is most common) may be shown publicly, but nothing personally identifying is collected in the first place.
Can I suggest a new game or feature?
Yes โ that's exactly what the feedback button on each game page is for, and what the Contact page is for too.
How often do new apps show up?
Irregularly โ whenever one is ready, not on a fixed schedule. If you enjoy what's here, it's worth checking back occasionally.
