How to play

Press Start and watch the four animals — the game lights one up (with a matching tone) at a time. Once it's done, tap the same animals back in the exact order they flashed. Get it right and the sequence grows by one more animal; get it wrong and the round ends there.

There's no time pressure per tap — the game waits for you before it minds if you're slow, it only cares whether your order is right. Sound is optional: everything is fully playable by sight alone, with the tone just there as a second cue if you find it easier to remember by ear too.

Tips for remembering longer sequences

Group the sequence into small chunks (pairs or triples) rather than trying to hold the whole thing as one long string — most people can hold 3-4 chunks more easily than 8-10 individual steps.
If you're in a quiet spot, turn the sound on — hearing a rising or falling pattern of tones can jog your memory even if the visual sequence has started to blur.
Take the extra half-second before you start tapping back — there's no reward for speed, only for accuracy.

Your personal best round is saved locally on this device — there's no account and nothing else is stored.

Do I need sound to play?

No — the flashing sequence is the primary cue and the game is fully playable muted. Sound is an optional extra layer.

Is there a leaderboard?

Not yet — right now it's just your personal best. A shared leaderboard is something we're considering adding later.
