How to play
You're given 16 words that secretly belong to 4 hidden groups of 4. Tap four words you think share a category, then submit — get it right and that group locks in place; get it wrong and you use up one of your 4 mistakes. Find all four groups before you run out of mistakes to win.
The trap is that the words are deliberately picked to overlap: a word that looks like it obviously belongs to one group is often a decoy for another. A fresh puzzle unlocks once a day, at midnight in your own time zone.
Tips for spotting the real groups
- Start with the group you're most confident about, even if it isn't the most "obvious" one — locking in a sure thing narrows the remaining 12 words a lot.
- If a word seems to fit two categories equally well, that's usually a deliberate red herring — it belongs to whichever group needs it once the other three are worked out.
- Categories aren't always literal (a shared theme, a wordplay pattern, things that precede or follow a common word) — if a "same topic" grouping doesn't quite click, try thinking about the words themselves instead of their meaning.
