Fun Forge Lab ("we", "us", "the site") is a small collection of casual browser games and quizzes at funforgelab.com. This policy explains what little data we collect, why, and how to reach us about it.
No accounts, no personal information required
None of our apps require you to sign up, log in, or provide your name, email, or any personal information to play.
What we do collect
- A random visitor ID. The first time you use any app, your browser generates a random ID (not tied to your name or identity) and stores it in your browser's local storage. This lets us recognize repeat visits from the same browser — for example, to show your quiz history, puzzle streak, or personal best — without knowing who you are.
- Game and quiz results, linked only to that random ID — your quiz result, your Word Forge/Group Forge streak, your Zoo Rogue run history, or your Mahjong match results.
- An optional display name. Zoo Rogue lets you set a nickname shown on its public leaderboard. This is entirely optional and chosen by you — please don't enter your real name (or anyone else's) if you'd rather keep it private, since leaderboard names are visible to all visitors.
- Standard technical logs. Like most websites, our hosting provider (Cloudflare) automatically logs basic technical information (such as IP address and browser type) for security and performance. We don't use this for any other purpose.
Advertising
We use Google AdSense to show ads on this site. Google and its advertising partners may use cookies and similar technology to show ads based on your visits to this and other sites. You can learn more and manage your ad personalization preferences at Google's Ads Settings and Google's own Privacy & Terms page.
Fonts
We load web fonts from Google Fonts to keep pages loading quickly. Loading these fonts may share your IP address with Google, the same as visiting any site that uses Google Fonts.
What we don't do
We don't sell your data. We don't require accounts or collect emails or names unless you choose to email us directly. We don't knowingly collect information from children under 13.
Your choices
Since we don't use accounts, you can clear your data at any time simply by clearing your browser's local storage (or using a different browser or device) — this resets your visitor ID and disconnects you from any past results. Where we operate
Fun Forge Lab is based in Singapore, and we aim to handle data in line with Singapore's Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA). Visitors from the EU/UK or California are covered by the same minimal-data-collection approach described above, in keeping with the spirit of GDPR and CCPA, even though this is a small hobby project rather than a large-scale commercial service.

We may update this policy occasionally as the site grows. The "last updated" date above will always reflect the latest version.
